BIO
In this present day and age where this battle of good and evil has become more vigorous and rampant than
ever, a remnant has been chosen by grace to carry on this fight for good armed with a powerful message of hope and life.
This band Remnant Tribe simply acts as microcosm of a greater remnant in a much bigger picture. The goal
and message of Remnant Tribe is really pretty simple. It’s to let people know they can always turn to God no matter where they
are at in life. No sin is too great, no man is too small.
Consisting of various members, these individuals
aim to use their God-given talents, time, and treasures to team up in expressing where they find faith, hope, and love in this treacherous
world. Based on the vision and songs written by Chris Robinson, this unique organic and all-acoustic approach to rock music
becomes a nice change from the ordinary. With a blend of dark and melodic riffs, meaningful lyrics, and message of hope, Remnant
Tribe is sure to singe a permanent mark in your mind. The main theme that Remnant Tribe aims to deliver through their music
can be summed up like this…
In this short existence we all share here on earth we are all hated by a common enemy and up against the many afflictions and hardships that exist in this broken world. Different faces of these afflictions are seen every day in loneliness, depression, suicide, addictions, abuse, neglect, pride, selfishness, perversion, hate, violence, pain, and unfortunately many, many others. But luckily, beyond the many lies and false messages of hope out there exists a redeeming Truth and true message of hope. This good news is the message of Jesus Christ. His life, death, and resurrection saves us from our sinful selves and this fallen world. It is a message of hope because it gives us the assurance that the price He paid is a price paid once and for all who believe. It ensures us an eternal home with Him free of sin and death when we leave this world. If you would like to know more about this, you are encouraged to start by reading the bible. It is called “Living Word” because it is how God speaks to us. A good start is in the book of Psalms, Proverbs, Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John. Here below are a few portions of Scripture that help in explaining this good news…
"For no one can ever be made right with God
by doing what the law commands.
The law simply shows us how sinful we are."
-Romans 3:20(NLT)
"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
and are justified
freely by his grace
through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."
-Romans 3:23-24 (NIV)
"For the wages of sin is death,
but the
gift of God is eternal life
in Christ Jesus our Lord."
-Romans 6:23 (NIV)
"For God so loved the world
that he gave his one and only
Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish
but have eternal life."
-John 3:16 (NIV)
"For it is by grace you have been saved,
through faith—and this not from yourselves,
it is the gift of God"
-Ephesians 2:8 (NIV)
"So now there is no condemnation
for those who
belong to Christ Jesus."
-Romans 8:1 (NLT)
"And I am convinced that nothing
can ever separate us from God’s love.
Neither death nor
life, neither angels nor demons,
neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—
not even the powers of hell can separate
us from God’s love.
No power in the sky above or in the earth below—
indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate
us
from the love of God that is revealed in
Christ Jesus our Lord."
-Romans 8:38-39 (NLT)
